For today’s installment of A Painting & A Poem I am sharing a special painting. If you follow me on Instagram @pamelacopemanart (if you’re not, you should!) you got a peek of this painting on my story last week. This painting was done by my mom and features me as a child, at four years old to be exact.
Can you see the resemblance??
I so lucky to have this piece of family history hanging in my home. It’s a wonderful reminder of my mom, her love, and her talent. I think it’s easy to see why I was inspired to pursue my many creative endeavors from a young age!
For this week’s poem, here is a classic childhood poem:
Little drops of water, Little grains of sand,
Make the mighty ocean And the pleasant land.
Thus the little minutes, Humble though they be,
Make the mighty ages Of eternity.
~Ebenezer Cobham Brewer
