Phew, I’ve finally finished all the petite paintings for my Monet inspired table design at the Heading Home To Dinner event! This painting, along with seven others, will be gifts for the guests at my table on Saturday evening for the Gala. I can’t wait to share the finished project ~ and hope to see some of you there over the 3 days of the event: Thursday, Friday, & Saturday this week at the Boston Design Center!
Monet’s Home in Giverny, 4″x4″, oil on canvas
“.... the garden is the retreat of an artist… the flowers are his companions… he wants to be able to caress them as he goes by… to feel them close to him… friendly and beneficent parts of his life…”
An excerpt from Le Temps, 1904, describing Le Jardin, a painting by Claude Monet
I loved creating these petite Monet inspired paintings and would love to paint them larger ~ just let me know if you’re interested! Speaking of painting, in addition to my table at the Heading Home To Dinner event this week for Boston Design Market, I’ll also be doing a live painting demo. Come see me at the Duralee Showroom, Suite 439 at the Boston Design Center from 1-3pm this Wednesday October 11th. See the complete list of Boston Design Market events here.
There’s certainly a lot going on!
